Giusi Quarenghi (Sottochiesa, Val Taleggio, 1951) has written tales, poems, short stories, scripts, non fiction, novels. Her work has often been based on folk tales and myths. She has published with many Italian publishers. In 2006 she has won the Andersen prize as best writer.
