Grandfather Manolo was a painter and loved to fly, always jumping from one scaffolding to the next. Grandmother Carmen did not fly at all. She stayed home, sitting in her rocking chair in a cool corner and spending her time peeling peas. Thus begins this sweet love story, built in the best tradition of the magic realism. Where grandma’s patient work will somehow save the life of this grandfather, a man who, light as a feather, spends his day flying through and fro, causing all the neighbours to stare at him in awe, thinking that one day or another something bad will happen. But the neighbours haven’t taken into account the power of love, a force capable to achieve the unbelievable. Juan Arjona (Seville, 1975) in A buen paso has published quite a few titles: Antonino contra el tiempo Antonino va y viene Antonino de sueño en sueño Amiga gallina Soy pequeñito Burro (el origen) Una vaca
